BW Planning Strategy for Coping with Construction Constraints and Management Regulations
The cost realities of night and weekend construction:
Night and weekend construction involves worker overtime pay, which is 30–50% higher than during normal hours. Furthermore, with limited worker availability, the construction period may not necessarily be shortened. During the consultancy phase, BW assesses whether "all-night construction is truly necessary" to achieve minimal business impact at the lowest additional cost, rather than directly accepting all-night construction requests.
